TEAM & PERMISSIONS

Invite your team, control who can use which models, and set usage limits — all from the NestAI dashboard.

Inviting teammates

Go to Dashboard → Team. Enter a teammate's email and click Invite →. They'll receive an email with a link to join your AI server.

Your plan determines how many seats you have: Solo = 1, Team = 10, Business = unlimited. The seat count includes active members only — pending invites don't count.

Roles

To change a member's role, click ⚙ Edit next to their name and select Admin or Member.

Restricting models per user

You can limit a team member to a specific model — useful for keeping costs predictable or giving different teams access to different models.

Click ⚙ Edit next to a member → set Allowed model dropdown. Select a specific model or leave as All models for unrestricted access.

Daily message limits

Set a daily message cap per user to prevent runaway usage. Click ⚙ Edit → enter a number in Daily message limit. Leave blank for unlimited.

Message limits are tracked via the analytics system which collects data hourly. Real-time enforcement is a planned feature — current limits are advisory.

Removing a member

Click ✕ next to a member's name. They'll immediately lose access to your NestAI team. Their Open WebUI account on your server is not automatically deleted — to remove that too, go to Open WebUI Admin → Users.
